The most delicious chocolate protein bars and so easy to make.
These never last the whole week in our house and when they are gluten free and packed with protein and probiotics from the Skat shake, why not eat them all!
There is the most delicious almond and macadamia mix by Butternut which goes perfectly.
Recipe:
2 cups rolled oats
1 cup almond flour
1 cup Skat protein powder
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
Put this all in a blender and pulse a few times.
Microwave 1/2 cup nut butter and 1/2 cup honey/maple syrup and add it to the mixture with 1/2 cup of your choice of milk.
Mix well and put into a greased dish (20cm) and bake for 25mins on 180 degrees.
Melt some dark chocolate to spread over the top.
Cut into pieces and store in an airtight container.
You can add some nuts and seeds to the mixture before baking if you would like, I added chia seeds and and sunflower seeds to mine.
